Sculpture in Israel today reflects the inner social and emotional feeling of our new society. It has been growing under direct influ- ence of the international sculpture of our century.

In Isaac Kahn we find a creative artist whose sculptures reflect a special dynamic movement which is both daring and romantic.

His art speaks in a very emotional and figurative language. The viewer immediately responds to it and through this response expe- riences pleasure.

Kahn molds bronze into flexible feminine forms which are char- acterized by a very delicate line some of which have the grace of the brush stroke of a painter. His motifs are basically loneliness, love, grace and femininity. It is an extremely rare exception to find an artist of this kind among the younger generation and it is gratify- ing to see how people react to this art at first sight. One feels Kahn is not just a dreamer or provider of dreams, he is a carrier out of his dreams, he realizes them and brings them to us for our pleasure.

He is not limited by the metal he works with, he shapes it and molds it with his own strong talent to create movement in space.
